简介: This EP was released back in 2011 with other rough mixes of songs from Bloodstone's current release "Fly Away". Acclaimed HOT producer and beat maker TOM JACK jumped aboard once he heard about this re-release and re-distribution through CDBaby. He also collaborated on one of the remixes with gold and platinum producer / engineer / artist Crayge W. Lindesay (writer on Lisa Stansfields #1 dance hit remix by Hex Hector, "I'm Leavin""). After releasing a highly acknowledged video of the inspirational track "Spread Some Love", it came to my attention that a strictly Vocal, Traditional Soul, R&B version of the original song was requested from many (as originally written). So some of the NOTED Kansas City players, the soulful legend Ricky Dotson on keys, Crayge Lindesay on guitar, young prodigies and phenomenal Blair Bryant (bass) & Zack Morrow (drums) along with a string part at the end by Bloodstone's original keyboardist and musical director Hense Powell, was recorded live in the studio. This is dedicated to the memory of Charles D. Love (who passed last year unable to see these releases he started). BLOODSTONE--over 50 years and still strong!
