Started in 2012, "Goodnight, You" is a band that's hoping to add some fun to the Columbus music scene. The current members (Alex Headings: Vocals/Bass, Ryan Harris: Lead Guitar, Matt Watson: Rhythm Guitar, Colin Miller: Drums) have been in various pop, metal, and alternative bands playing shows across Ohio for the past 5 years until finally coming together to create Goodnight, You. The band recorded a 6-song EP entitled "States Away" at Paper Tiger Studios in Columbus, Ohio and plans on a digital release in the near future. 　　 　　Drawing influences from bands like All Time Low, Senses Fail and You Me at Six, Goodnight, You is bringing a more energetic and upbeat sound to a music scene that is currently over-saturated in metal and hardcore bands. Aspects varying from dance rhythms and punk beats to driving rock sections keeps "States Away" sounding fresh and distinct from the current local sound. Goodnight, You may be a relatively new group, but the personal experience of each individual member ensures that this is a band that will keep itself busy with shows and recordings to maintain a happy fan base.
