Sunset is a musical project from Eagle Rock, CA, formed in 2015 by singer/songwriter Eddie Olguin. After the disintegration of his previous band (Death of a Star) Eddie found himself navigating through a turbulent period in his life. Having lost hope in the "band experience" he focused mainly on writing songs which encapsulated the trials and tribulations of said period. The end result is Sunset which, in turn, is a reflection of those things that come with being an artist in a metropolis such as Los Angeles: love, lust, alienation and escapism. Eddie's desire to crate a brotherhood with whom he could play live again was reborn. He is now fortunate to be joined by Marty Witt (whom he played with in Death of a Star), Raymond Lacsamana (who literally fell from the heavens right after the departure of Sunset's original guitarist) and Buwi Meneses (whom Raymond brought onboard through pure hope and a prayer) from the international band Parokya ni Edgar (Universal).
