Gambino Slim born in Chicago, IL Is no stranger to the music business. His father inked a deal with the legendary Sun Records out Memphis TN in the early eighties and it was home to Al Green, Elvis, BB king, Aretha Franklin and more, he was heavily influenced from a musical family background and street environment. He was a Jacksonville Florida transplant from the Midwest since 1989 or 90. Even there he was aware of a different street to art mentality while living on the Northside of Jacksonville.
