Luminescent Grass

简介: Luminescent Grass, like much of my other music, is a lengthy piece. The name speaks for itself.
It opens with an airy atmosphere as you enter the grass then transcends with a slow languid hand drum providing the base for Nuada's signature sound-scrapes which melodically hover about. Moving your psyche through the journey.
I tried to make the drums as sensual as possible. I really feel like this piece seduces you. We listen to it in the bedroom. I do not do that with any other piece I've ever created with one exception. My "Esabat - The Ambiance of Sacred Space". But nearly everyone tells me that that is what they do with it. And so it is.
Every time I went into the studio to work on Luminescent Grass, I lit fragrant incense and turned off all the lights. Lit only by the soft glow of my instruments. The dark moved me.
My wife initially thought it was too long. So I left it and essentially forgot about it.
Several months later I decided to burn several forgotten pieces to a CD for my own enjoyment
One day I had it playing when my wife was in the car. She thought it was absolutely wonderful and wondered why she had not heard it before. O.k. - so I'm a temperamental artist !
I hope you enjoy the journey into "Luminescent Grass".
As always, I enjoy your feedback and thoughts.
Peace & Love,
Nuada
