Jonathan Thomas (Jai) is a guitarist, composer and producer. 　　 　　Jai was born in Tucson Arizona November 8, 1983. From birth to the present, he has been surrounded by music with his father being a successful DJ. 　　Jai picked up his first guitar at the age of 13 and was determined to take his new found love to the limit. Not having the money for classes or a personal instructor, Jai began the task of teaching himself to master his guitar. His influences includes Ernie Isley, Eddie Hazel, Prince, Nile Rogers, Peter Frampton and Jimi Hendrix. 　　 　　Jai graduated from Full Sail University receiving a degree in Audio Engineering. After graduating Jai returned to Tucson and began to produce music for various artists in Tucson, along with playing guitar for numerous bands and events across the World. Jai's production influences include; Timbaland, Steve Aoki, Lil John and many more. 　　 　　Jai continues to follow his dreams and passion…to make great timeless music! Jai has a relentless drive and determination that will keep him pursuing bigger and better opportunities…Because of his love for music! 　　 　　"The Skool Spirit Project", is Jai's first official release. Jai absolutely loves his city and decided he would dedicate his first release to the city that made him and the team he loves. The first single "Put Your Claws Up" or #PYCU is dedicated to just that, The U of A Wildcats. The rest of the project follows suit with energetic rhythm's and club smashing beats that are sure to spark a fire in your spirit.
