MATEUS is an exceptional project that is constantly mutating and evolving. MATEUS’ music can be defined as a reference point for deeper explorations of the dance floor, but also right out into the fringes of electronic music with classically trained Live- musicians that are responsible for the special experimental sound on stage. 　　MATEUS - that’s probably how you know him. But there’s also Ricardo Tovar Mateus – the man behind the project, a classical and film music composer and experimental sound designer. There’s no doubt that the two are linked, but it’s certainly the hidden facets of Ricardo Tovar that are responsible for the dynamic output of MATEUS. 　　MATEUS DJ sets range from up-tempo house and Latin house with extra drumming, to more experimental electro sounds and more ethereal textures that remind us of a more orchestral sound.
