KG came to the UK off the back of 2 number one singles in her native French Guyana, she then went on to have a number 1 dance smash in the UK with the song “Keep On Running”. Her roots have always been deeply rooted in Jazz, this becomes more apparent when you listen to her beautiful performances of some great original songs and some timeless classics on her forthcoming album release. The first release from the album is the title track with the VJB, “A Different Kind Of Heat”, which is already gathering huge momentum in the United States, thanks to the overwhelming response from the public when it was exclusively aired on the Dj Casper show on V103 in Chicago, as well as the huge support from Smooth jazz and Soul websites and radio stations around the globe, including the feature on the UK’s Jazz FM Network, which has lead to KG performing at prestigious venues in London, including The Jazz Café and the Pizza Express Jazz Club. The album is produced by renowned producer and founder of the Virtual Jazz Band, Wayne Brown who has written and produced for a string of artists including, Billy Ocean, Ruby Turner, Stevie Winwood, Junior Giscombe and Jonathan Butler to name but a few. The album contains writing contributions from KG and Wayne as well as industry icons such as Junior Giscombe, better known for his international smash hit “Mama Used To Say”, who is featured on the song “Never Ever Gonna Give You Up, and Yazz remembered for her huge international number 1 hit “The Only Way Is Up”. 　　The album is an eclectic blend of Jazz, Soul, R&B, Latino and Reggae influences and will be released for download on itunes and major download stores from the 30th January 2012.
