简介: Steve's career has spanned over three decades and two coasts. He has opened for such greats as Blackfoot, Alvin Lee (Ten Years After) and shared the venue with artists Robyn Hitchcock, Sebadoh, The Blue Hawaiians and The Flaming Lips.
On the east coast there has been a bluesy album recorded in the late 1980's with the band “The Bully's” titled "The Fist Album" which was recorded at Greentree Studios in Greensburg, PA and a CD in 1996 with the band “The Bystanders” named "Ruff World". This album was recorded at the famous Windmark Studio in Virginia Beach, Va., owned by Michael Marquart, solo artist and former drummer for Flock Of Seagulls. The engineer was the great Skip DeRupa.
The Bystanders also recorded two of Steve’s songs on a compilation CD to benefit The Chesapeake Bay Foundation, entitled "Soundings."
About 10 years ago Steve relocated to The Bay Area to continue his career. His 2003 CD, "greyghoste", contains 10 of his newest original songs. It is a sparse solo album using one lead vocal track and one acoustic guitar; recorded “live” in his studio. No overdubs at all; just a recorded performance in that moment.
And right now Steve is in the beginning stages of recording his next CD! The songs are written and being recorded. His friends will be joining with him on this project to add a variety of instrumentation and vocals.
The albums “The Fist Album” and “Ruff World” are out of print (except for a few copies of original vinyl of “The Fist Album.”) In fact, I don’t even own a copy of “Ruff World” because after I sold all of them, the company in Florida who manufactured them went out of business without a trace.
I plan to sell these tunes on these albums digitally at some point in the future so you can listen, purchase individual songs or the entire albums right here on CD Baby as well as other venues.
