Melvin Fallin aka S.i.R was born in Lawton, Oklahoma and grew up in a military lifestyle. God was a focal point of early growth. Moving from town to town and at one point early on out of the country his church life was found within the home. Son of a father who is a Pastor and mother a scholar ministry was encouraged to collide with the arts. Coming to Pittsburgh, Pa in the early 90’s a stable town was available.
Ministry became priority as S.i.R attended a Christian school and started preaching in third grade. Known to most as “Pastor Melvin” his calling was recognized early. Growing older music became a dominant influence pertaining primarily to hiphop culture. Writing rhymes as a pre-teen fit the normal scheme of actions as Melvin frequently wrote poetry and anything of the his mind out on paper.
Early on influences created the desire to preach through music and further the gospel. Meeting up with a firm foundation S.i.R currently is owner of Club E.S.C.A.P.E, E.S.C.A.P.E Music Group and Productions/Radio. Label mates include Gene “M.O.T” Shelby, Kenny "Undignified" Thomas and Azariah “Z” Jones.
