Her debut release "Defenseless" is an incredibly evocative album of radio-friendly adult contemporary pop. She has been compared to singers such as Dido, Sarah McLachlan, Enya, and Tori Amos.　　 　　Noel grew up by the sea in a small Rhode Island fishing village, studied classical voice and piano, and graduated summa cum laude from The Boston Conservatory.
