Butterfly. In a cocoon. Born - I’ve always had this feeling, a fire deep inside of me. A running feeling, high, joy, feel alive. I studied acting/modeling at Vancouver School of Film and Fashion, I was burning to move to New York. Finally I got there. “New York City, Avenue B, 4th floor walk-up, you and me.” Wild days, wild nights, trying to stay alive. Studied singing with Katie Agresta. Practiced scales walking through Central Park. Coming out of the vocal classes what a high, run down the road, fly like a bird. Had some bands, played the Palladium, C.B.G.B.’s. Moved to London, practiced and wrote, met musicians. Moved around, always moving, home was no home, a nomadic life. Influenced by Brian Cook, he taught me all my music, singing, song. Taught me tuning, holding hands, walking down snowy roads in Canadian winters. “This is the 5th., it sounds bright like a bell.
