Shellee Coley's first full length album release is simply bliss. Lyrics that draw you in and then grab your heart as they are simply the truth of life, love, and living. Her voice is soothing, yet sexy. She has drawn on her life and that is what makes this album so authentic for the listener. It is not someone else writing, someone else singing and so on, it is all Coley and she owns this album in her style and comes truly into her own. But after listening to 3 or 4 songs I found myself wanting to hear more, and find out more about this Shellee Coley. After reading her story and finding out that she stopped doing music for many years, I was so inspired and so grateful she picked it back up. This record really caught me off guard and I absolutely love it. Her voice has such a calming effect on me and the stories ring so true! If you love song writers then this record is for you.
