All of the songs on Roots & Veins were written between 2012-2013, shortly after the Momentum EP was released, and most were recorded then as well. A couple of songs took some time to finally get into recorded form, hence the late 2015 release. Each song represents influences on the artist as she moved from one home to the next, which happened a number of times over the 2012-2013 time-frame... including that home is what you make it. All instruments and vocals were performed by the artist, and the Motherlines track includes a sample of Comet 67P as sonified by Manuel Senfft (CC license).
