- dew - swiss female singer-songwriter - new CD "moments to dwell" recorded together with the renowned American producer Larry Crane at “Jackpot! Studio” in Portland, Oregon. 　　Melancholy and confidence have a charming rendezvous. Variable guitar sounds complement dew’s voice wonderfully – this amazing voice that sounds discretely, sometimes fragile but then again with great intensity – and with the power to fascinate her audience. 　　 　　In February/March 2006 she crossed the ocean, heading for the USA. The destination was “Jackpot! Studio” in Portland, Oregon. During almost three weeks, she has been working there together with well-known producer Larry Crane (Elliott Smith, Jenny Lewis, the Go-Betweens, etc.). 　　 　　Her first solo work “moments to dwell” was made with Larry Crane and Pascal Perrot. All instruments were played by Dew, Larry and Pascal, and on drums, Rachel Blumberg (Norfolk/Western; The Decemberists) gives a strong performance. 　　 　　One week after the release of “moments to dwell”, the biggest Swiss Radio-Station DRS3 discovered her album. Dew’s song “words” was chosen as “Song-of-the-week”, since then, the song is in the airplay! 　　2007 Dew was supporting act for musicians like Thomas Dybdahl (NOR), Boy Omega (SWE), Emily Haines (USA) and Benjamin Biolay (FR) and played at many venues in Switzerland and Germany.
