Dinner Music started out in 1999 as a weekly music get together with Northern Californian musicians Chris Brown, Bill Shore, and Jason Loeks. These sessions quickly turned into a recording project. Chris invited Ethan Okamura and Paul McCandless to join in on the recordings and soon a handful of local shows followed. The music was improvisational by design, and the songs on this CD are really just live performances with a few additional overdubs. Although the project was short lived, the music speaks for itself and is finally being shared for the first time.
