简介: The pianist Neil Galanter began his musical studies at the age of seven. He gave his first recital at the age of nine, and made his debut at twelve with orchestra. He has since gone on to play many recitals, concerts as soloist & with orchestra throughout the USA, Mexico, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. He received his doctorate degree from the University of Southern California. He also studied at the Juilliard School and Manhattan School of Music in New York and at the University of Michigan.
He is a researcher and exponent of many major Spanish, English, French and Belgian composers and has received grants on several occasions from the Spanish Government for research in Spanish piano music. British and Spanish composers such as Xavier Montsalvatge and Sir William Blezard have written works for him, which he has premiered on tours in Ireland and Australia.
