This trio of CDs in the "Trilogy Collection" are, first, recordings I am very proud of. They are CDs that I feel are my best recordings (along with my "Continuum" CD) I've done up to now. They have great players on all of them as well as great music. 　　Also, this "Trilogy Collection" features music I had the pleasure of recording in the 90's. They were done for Blue Note Records. At that time, I had no idea that someday these CDs that I felt so good about at that time, would be on my own label (I didn't even have a label at that time). It is something that I can't really put into words. Except that it's one of the real high points in my career. I owe it to Bruce Lundvall and Blue Note Records for helping me in this effort.
