This R&B singer got his start acting in community theatre, growing up in Gainesville Florida. As a child, living in an academic based family, he strived to break the generation hold of having an ordinary life. So as he got older he started to experiment with different talents that he discovered. Acting, being one, sports being another, and one thing leaded to another he stumbles upon his gift of music. 　　 　　Currently Tonyé is attending college with dreams of being a recording artist. His studies, at Columbia College Chicago, have helped him develop a style that has molded an image into his music. Upon completion of his second album he made an oath that he would be sign to a label by the end of his junior year of college. Also being CEO of his own label has helped him grasp a better understanding of the industry. Currently four artists are signed under the label, Anji C. (“Dreams” album released April 2005,) Ray, A.I.Y.A (“Phase One” album release date August 2007,) and Tonyé himself. The sales from his first album fueled the company in the release of Anji C. as well as Tonyé’s second album “Life After Love”. 　　 　　Tonyé has worked with numerous producers including Lewis Bryant (Hit song:” That’s Just My Baby Daddy” artist include: KHIA, Ta-Ta, producing for label as: LaFace Records and Artemis Records) and wrote songs for every artist on his label. His number one single “I Got It,” from his current album, was co-written with his longtime friend Philip Tarver. Tonyé has written or co-wrote every song on both his first and second album including being featured on countless independent artist tracks.
