When I was just a few month old, my mother played a recording of Moonlight Sonata to stop me from crying. So from early infancy, this gentle and soothing melody became one of my favorite pieces and I couldn't wait to perform myself. 　　I fell in love with Chopin's music when I played the Chopin Nocturne in C Sharp Minor at a school recital at the tender age of 8. 　　Schubert Impomptu was the first composition I performed at the Moscow Conservatory as a teenager. it was during this performance coupled with the warm reception of the audience and my professor's accolades, from which my dream of becoming a concert pianist emerged.
