简介:  Two time Grammy Award winning Musical artist Ken Ard has already had a 20-year winning streak in New York, performing in the original casts of some of the most successful shows in musical theater history, i.e., “Smokey Joe’s Cafe”, “Cats”, “Starlight Express”, and “Jelly’s Last Jam”. He now lends his warm, impeccable baritone to the American songbook, singing the swinging standards that are beloved all over the world.      He has performed with Patti Labelle in Geoffrey Holder’s revival of House of Flowers, Gregory Hines in George C Wolfe’s Broadway musical smash hit, Jelly’s Last Jam, As well as Lou Rawls, Gladys Knight, Gloria Gaynor, and The   legendary Jon Hendricks in his ground breaking musical revue "The Evolution Of The Blues" in San Francisco's historical Golden Gate Theater, Just to name a few.   Ken also appears in the 2002 Best Picture Oscar winning cinematic version of ‘ Chicago ’ for Miramax Pictures, as "Wilbur staring Renee Zellweger, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Richard Gere and Queen Latifa.      In 2008, Ken recorded his first solo CD,   "Ballads, Blues, & Cocktails", with his jammin’ trio, “The Incredibles”, as well as featured performances from some of Europe’s most noteworthy jazz musicians.
