Hi I'm Joe Kelly, of kelly Stacey and Smith. I am the Lyricist and Kevin Stacey is the guy who puts all the music together. Thomas kelly my Son and Kit Bradshaw contribute with their ideas and guitar riffs, ., We all work as a team and everyone contributes. We have many styles from Country, to Indie Rock to Love Ballads. Its true to say we have been influenced by the world of music we grew up with. In my case That would have been Slim whitman, Elvis, Glen campbell, John Denver, James Taylor, Bob Dylan etc. Its all there somewhere. 　　 　　I write from the heart and can't just sit down and write a song. 　　 　　I draw on past experiences and put my own spin on things. Many of my songs are about unrequited love or lost love. I dont know why this is as I have been married for 32 yrs to a wonderful woman. I guess its the same for someone who writes thrillers, it doesn't mean they are a a spy !!! 　　 　　I feel my song writing has reached maturity ,. I think a lot of people will be able to relate to the sentiment and I have a feeling it will increase our audience.
