Hi. I'm a singer-songwriter from Norfolk, England, and 'Travelling Back' is my first full length CD. It was recorded in my studio, a converted riding stables on the edge of a lovely Norfolk forest. This was a real labour of love for me, and I spent many nights recording in the hush of the forest, gazing out at the night sky as I listened with excitement to the CD coming together. 　　 　　My influences are all the great singer-songwriters from the 60s and early 70s;James Taylor, Nick Drake, Neil Young, John Martyn etc. etc. I'm also a published poet, and so I tend to think about my lyrics quite a bit, and experiment with different vocal techniques. Writing songs is something I have no choice over. I do it because it makes sense of my world, and I believe music has the power to reach us in a way that no other art form is able to do. Somehow music reaches just that bit deeper, and like birds singing, I believe music is something inherent in the human gene. 　　 　　Anyway, enough philosophy...I hope you enjoy my CD. People tell me they find it very soothing, and often play it in times of stress. My website is now complete, where I will be adding tracks off my forthcoming CD as well as keeping a diary. Enjoy!
