When we were kids, music and being in a rock band was the most important thing to us in the world. We put all our energy into playing, writing, promoting, and trying to get better as a unit. This taught me a lot about life and people and left me with some incredible expiriences. In 2016, this music holds a slightly different importance to me. I was left with some incredible memories growing up during the best music-era in history. I can't believe I actually get to tell my son that I played shows with Ozzy & The Ramones! Not to mention Soundgarden, Fear, Dead Kennedys, DOA, Circle Jerks, and Black Flag between 1986 and 1996. Me and my brother were also left with some old unreleased recordings that luckily surfaced. Two songs I hadn't heard in 20 years which was really weird. It brought back so many great memories from that time. The new 4 song Scratch EP is not meant to promote a rock band. It is meant to promote life, friendship, brotherhood, hard-work, and a great time. "El Monstro" was the "A" side of a 7 inch from 1994 and the 3rd track on this new release.
