But that’s not all... 　　When listening to Kes, you will immediately feel the hardness, power and energy of bands like Meshuggah, Metallica and Tool. But the music of Kes cannot just limited to these similarities. The exciting part of the album is that it’s fresh new and has also tastes of it’s country of origin, Turkey. From this point of view, Kes is one of the best things happened to the Turkish rock scene in the last years. 　　 　　The music of Kes can be described as the power and flow arising from the harmony between the talented band members. And their long term musical friendship also becomes audible in the tracks of Kamlama. The musical craftmanship of the album is at highest level and catches you right away. If you are a drummer, bass or guitar player, or just a good listener, Kamlama will get your attention by the first beats and notes. Another reason for the high power and energy of Kamlama is that it was recorded live. 　　 　　The story of Kes goes back to Yıldız University School of Music, where all the band members have met. Kes was formed in 2012 by Mehmet Demirdelen (Drums), Cenk Turanlı (Bass) and Emre Kula (Guitar). 　　 　　Kamlama was recorded live in January 2014 by Murat Gülbay and Cem Ömeroğlu at Maslak 1024 Studios. 　　 　　The album was mixed by Cem Ömeroğlu and mastered by Selim Demirdelen. 　　 　　The cover design was made by Şakir Kış and Zeynep Kış. 　　 　　The first music video was shot by Selim Demirdelen for the track Hak. 　　 　　The Album was released in March 2015 by Lin Records, available as CD, vinyl and digital. 　　 　　If you want to see where instrumental progressive rock music is going, don’t miss Kamlama. 　　 　　By Kaan Sezyum
