My name is LTC (Lightning the Cape Verdean). I am a solo Hip Hop artist born in Cape Verde (Fogo) and grew up in Boston MA., living in Roxbury, Uphamns Corner and Dorchester. I went to High School at the Jeremiah Burke. I have been rapping for more than 10 years. Some of my influences include KRS-ONE, RAKIM, EPMD and RUN-DMC. 　　 　　What makes me unique from other rappers? Well, I rap in English and/or Cape Verdean and sometimes I mix the two to create a unique prospective. I also write my own lyrics and Produce my own beats. This allows me to create exactly what I feel inside. In addition I absolutely love Hip Hop. 　　 　　I use my music to both entertain and to enlighten. For example my song “White Girl” will make you dance, laugh and think about the horrors of drugs.
