Bloodlines Hold The Key…this beautiful line was written by Tom Craig, one of the songwriters on this CD. We began thinking about that piece of prose, and what it means. The Kingston Trio has spanned 6 decades, had 9 different members, withstood the test of time and sustained a fan base that stretches far and wide. When you think about all that, it makes sense. 　　 　　It makes sense because Kingston Trio fans are more than fans, they are family. Our common threads are love of the music, the memories we have, the new friends we have made and our love and support of each other. 　　 　　We have grown up with The Kingston Trio, learned the music, learned to spread our wings, and enjoyed every minute of it. And we want to thank you all. Considering the sum of our experiences and you as our new extended family…yes, bloodlines actually do hold the key. 　　 　　Someday we may have to pass the torch to a new lineup. We are happy that this CD will always be around to remind you of the bloodlines that connect us. 　　 　　Although this CD diverges from traditional Kingston Trio music, we feel it keeps within our rich folk music heritage.
