There are more than enough labels out there to describe Nane Colás and his music, perhaps because he pays no attention to them, or maybe because it is a pipe dream to try to sum up a musical career that has lasted more than 20 years. “Old-school” might be the term most to his own liking: music done his way, nonchalant, constant, from the four-track to the computer, from chrome tapes and cassettes to CDs, from analogical to digital. Nane is totally old-school.
