New artist Reggie Vanderbilt makes his debut with an extensive mash up of soulful yet gospel-esque offerings. No matter who or what garners mainstream acclaim, Reggie has officially made his contribution in 2017. Having sung background and being a featured soloist on Percy Bady’s “Kingdom Inspirations”, Reggie took that experience and concocted a kingdom inspiration of his own by presenting what he calls, “heart music from heaven”. 　　 　　On his first solo studio album, Reggie leaves the comfort of the musical background bubble to spread his wings, and has amassed a refreshingly inspired body of work. Reggie is mostly in his soulful comfort zone with uplifting vocals and smooth harmonies on top of live instruments that bring this EP to life. The live band sound of the EP arouses a spiritual high in which true music lovers will pander. The 6-track inaugural project offers rhythm and soul influenced testaments, starting with his debut single "True Love" a smooth love ballad where he cuts loose and serenades with his signature crooning that speaks about God’s love. Also featured is the heartening “None Like You” and the urban contemporary inspired “Ooh” and “Still Love Me”. Reggie also puts his twist on the Gospel throwback, “I Need Thee”, sprinkled with a little Motown soul-meets-Sunday Morning service, this album doesn’t feel like a typical gospel album and offers something for everyone.
