Mannequin is a mexican band from Monterrey city. The band was founded on November 2nd, day in wich is celebrated one of the most traditional and popular festivities in Mexico, "El Dia de Muertos" (Day of the Dead). In its beggining, they used to practice in a mannequin factory that inspired the name of the band and also because they believe that mannequins, someday, will come to life and exterminate the human race to make the world a better place. 　　 　　La Petite Mort (french for "The Little Death") was inspired in the two most beautiful phases of our lives, which are the natural death and female orgasm.
