简介: This is LILA's debut album. Taking over 2 years to complete, it's been well worth the wait. The album has songs that are honest and beautiful, with Naren Rauch's lyrics telling of heartfelt experiences from his life. The band compliments well with the lure and timbre of Naren's voice. The album travels through different styles of music, ranging from guitar driven rock songs, drum'n'bass, slow ballads, even songs with surf rock and country feels. But the record is tightly held together by the unmistakable sound of the band, and lyrics that tell of loneliness and longing, love, and happiness.
LILA is simply a synthesis of four great musicians who love to create and perform together. Naren Rauch met Brian Griffin and Bob Sabin through the Manhattan School of Music and they started a raw power trio. Often they collaborated with visual artists from Manhattan and Brooklyn to create some amazing shows. It wasn't long before they began recording "You're Home". In the process of making the record, the band realized that they needed a fourth member. Luckily, Gabe Hays was already interested in LILA and joined the group in early 2003.
The band now has a full sound, without having to be complex or extravagant. "You're Home" is just an album of good and honest songs played by great musicians.
