简介: I will let others comment on England's music (Robert Webb, keyboard player with England):
"Phenomenal English symphonic prog, truly inspired and immaculately performed, with beautifully textured arrangements. Due to the relative obscurity of this album, it's not surprising that this gem has been dubbed a true “lost classic” by many."

Regards from France
Hi, I'm writing from Lyon, France. It's incredible for me to discover this website (Garden Shed Music website) now, about my overall favourite prog album ! For me A Garden Shed is even better than the Gabriel era LPs of Genesis, which is my favourite prog band (I cannot say that about England because... so few albums !). Too bad, the 2006 reissue of Garden Shed is sold out ... :-( I hope that it will possible to have new ones in the future and of course, new materials and new gigs. I'm ok to comme to England to see England ! For me A Garden Shed is... a myth. A talk about it in my blog (http://renaudbb.wordpress.com but it's in french). Renaud, 43 years old. New Album?
Will there ever be a new (England) album? I got three copies of your LP and two on CD. I know it is insane but in case one of them breaks I need to have back-up. I can not live without listening to Midnight Madness. It has to be the ultimate symphonic rock song ever made. Has all the classic ingredients of a great song. So, hope you are in the studio making another classic symphonic album which will launch you on a world wide tour. That is my dream. Love Tommy (Posted: 18:19 17 January 2007).
And another:
Perfect Vinyl!
Kids asleep, the wife's out, time to listen to some music in peace- a rare treat. What haven't I listened to for a long (long) time? I've still got Garden Shed on vinyl, fire up the LP12 , warm up the Naims. Pour out a single malt and wallow in two sides of perfect, analogue keyboard driven nostalgia. Just found the web site - planning any more gigs in the UK? Is it Frank Holland - it's Franc on the original album. Why did Jode never find the "on" lever for the strainer on his snare? A new album in 2006? Finger's crossed. If you do the 29 years between album's will make the Blue Nile's output look prolific in response!

And finally:
Come and play in Sweden!
I'm so happy that you started playing again, Garden Shed is my nr 1 album ever and it's so sad it was the only one from you! But Mexico and Japan is very far away if you live in Sweden, is 20 years and a student, so I wonder if there is any chance that your going to play in Europe some time? Then I'll come to see you! Thank you so much for the lovely music you created... are there any plans of making a new album? /DavidS (Posted: 9:48 23 January 2006)
