Here four maestros joined forces in a recording studio in Havana during a three-day session: noted jazz flautist Jane Bunnett; two major forces in the history of Cuban music, "Maraca" and Richard Egues; the former's protegé, Céline Vallé. Nonpareil Latin jazz pianist Hilario Duran provides an inventive, solid underpinning and works with the percussion section to set grooves that just don't quit, while the flutes soar exultantly above it all.
