Jimmy Witherspoon bestrode the worlds of jazz and blues for nearly half a century, from his first major R&B hit 'Ain't Nobody's Business' in 1949 until his death in 1997. In-between those dates he made a reputation that was second to none, and the music compiled here is testament to his talents.
