To the point and dead-on, Very Best of Teddy Pendergrass will please the baritones' legion of fans, and is a solid intro to TP for newbies. It would be perfect had the compiler included "Be Sure," the fantastic album cut from his first solo album. But you can't have everything, and this is more than enough to satisfy most musical palates.
