The Music Of Love was a studio album (with additional previously released tracks) featuring 18 popular love songs. 　　 　　For a long time I have been keen to record a collection of the world's most popular love songs: The music of love is a selection of some of my favourites from the last fifty years. Most of them you will know well: which made recording them a doubly exciting experience. I hope I have done justice to some of the world's most popular composers. 　　 　　It was a great honour to then be asked to film a six part television series based around these songs. The filming took place in and around some most beautiful country houses and castles in Scotland: only majestic locations could do justice to these classic songs. 　　 　　This has been a very special project for me, which, I hope you will enjoy listening to as much as I have recording it. 　　 　　Richard Clayderman, 1984
