《Shallow Water》是自然器乐组合AD的首张专辑，这也是 AD 继2021年6月发布与四枝笔 Four Pens的合作单曲〈潮隙Spindrift〉后，再次发表新作品，该歌曲在东南亚成为热门歌曲，并被加入台湾Spotify的多个播放清单。 　　AD是由来自京都?丹后半岛的音乐家山崎昭典以及东京的吉他手drowsiness，两人共同合作的企划。师承日本声音艺术家铃木昭男的民谣吉他手——山崎昭典（Akinori Yamasaki）运用洗练精致的木吉他原声，带领听众感受京都丹后半岛馥郁的历史文化气息与自然生态；其中drowsiness 运用一把电吉他独有表现的敲击音效和多彩音色，共同引领听者体验京都丹后半岛的自然风光及东京的极简主义。 　　专辑封面则是由米津玄师〈Pale Blue〉、RADWIMPS〈Light The Light〉MV指定合作、擅长色彩与液体流线的艺术家中山晃子（Akiko Nakayama ）一手操刀。 　　AD, a guitar unit consisting of guitarists Akinori Yamazaki and drowsiness living in Kyoto, will release their first new album "Shallow Water" on March 9. 　　This will be the first time in six months after the releasing of the single "Spindrift" , which released on June 30, 2021, and became a smash hit mainly in Southeast Asia, being added to several Spotify Taiwan playlists. 　　The album was recorded at RedBull Studio Tokyo and at FOSSIL STUDIO, Akinori Yamazaki's private studio. The songs, which focus on the backgrounds and tastes of both Akinori Yamazaki and drowsiness, are a cross between Tokyo and Kyotango, one urban area and one relatively suburb. It is a work where the atmosphere of Tokyo and Kyotango, the big city and the nature, intersect. There are 11 tracks in total, including the lead track "Shallow Water" inspired by the shoals of the Japan Sea facing Tango Peninsula, which is also the concept of the album. 　　The album was mixed and mastered by Makoto Oshiro, the same as the previous single "Spindrift feat. Four Pens", and the artwork was created by Akiko Nakayama, who has been collaborating with drowsiness on their live performances and artwork for many years.
