Sheena Easton explores dance-pop and light urban contemporary music, working in the same arena as Taylor Dayne, Lulu, and Lisa Stansfield (the best of the bunch). She sounds credible, but has never been among the most soulful or compelling singers. The production and arrangements are frequently more arresting than her singing.
