简介: “Get Weird” is the upcoming and highly-anticipated third studio album by English girl group Little Mix. It’s scheduled to be released on 6 November 2015 via Syco and Columbia.
The girls, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall were in the studio recoding songs with the collaboration of Welsh singer Marina Diamandis, professionally known as Marina and the Diamonds.
This new music project arrives two years after the release of their acclaimed latest smash album “Salute” (2013).
On the other hand, the English singer and Rixton lead vocalist Jake Roche, who is currently dating Little Mix’s member Jesy Nelson, confirmed some details during and interview with PopCrush. He said:
We’ve heard some of their new songs and they sound massive. We’re huge fans of theirs
While interviewing on the red carpet at BBC Radio 1’s Teen Awards, the girls revealed to Digital Spy their ist of collaborators, including MNEK, Jess Glynne and Jessie J.
During BRITs Awards red carpet on 25 February 2015, the girls confirmed that their new album is finished and they are “adding little touches” to it. They said:
We’ve been working on the album for quite a while, we just want it to be perfect. It has a whole new sound. It’s literally completely different to anything we’ve done before. Words can’t describe how excited we are for this single because it’s a bit of a risk but so were Wings and Move. It’s scary because we’ve never done this style before but we’re excited because it’s a new lane, a new year and we’re feeling very positive
Jesy, Perrie, Jade and Leigh-Anne have made Google Hangout live stream on Friday March 13th to update you on all things Album 3. They only said that this new album is their best yet and the official single is coming really soon…
During an interview with Gulf News, they said:
It’s very 80s, inspired in part by living legend Prince. So it’s a whole new sound we’ve gone for. We love trying new things and experimenting and taking risks, that’s what we’re all about
The lead single from the album “Black Magic“ was released on May 29th. The girls confirmed that they have been working in the studio with Jess Glynne (2 songs), Jessie J , Maegan Cottone, Camille Purcell and Ed Drewett, who co-wrote the first single.
During a recent interview with Digital Spy, the girls confirmed there’s a follow-up to “DNA” (track) on this new album.
