这首作品的灵感来源于键盘手Freddy在波士顿留学期间每天上学都会经过的一条拥有悠久历史的大道名字。Commonwealth Ave上永远是车水马龙，即便是零下20度的大雪天，街上行走的人群也都是行色匆匆。 　　因为总是一个人在这条道上走很长的路，这个行走的意象就贯穿了Freddy的整个波士顿时期，也深深地刻进了他的脑海。碰巧那段时间又特别痴迷迪斯科音乐，所以就把这两者揉合到了一起。 　　然而，这首作品是在离开波士顿后才写的，属于是情绪沉淀之后的产物。Freddy回国后，某丁目乐队的成员们又加入了各自新奇的想法，使这首作品的听感和原本想表达的荒诞性更加升级了。 　　This piece was inspired by the name of an avenue with a long history that keyboardist Freddy passed by every day when he was studying in Boston. Commonwealth Avenue is always busy with traffic, and even on a snowy day of minus 20 degrees, people walking on the street are in a hurry. Since one always walks a long way on this road alone, this image of walking ran through Freddy's entire Boston period and was deeply engraved in his mind. It happened that he was particularly obsessed with disco music at that time, so he combined the two. However, this piece was written after Freddy leaving Boston, and is the product of emotional precipitation. After returning to China this year, the members of XChome added their own novel ideas, which further upgraded the listening impression of this piece and the absurdity it originally intended to express.
