88rising & Eardrummers旗下多栖艺术家Spence Lee带来首张个人专辑《S.H.O.T.T.A.》。该专辑由传奇制作人Mike WiLL Made-It操刀，主打曲“SRT”则是邀请了来自知名美国嘻哈组合Rae Sremmurd的成员Slim Jxmmi参与合作。身兼说唱歌手、制作人、视觉艺术家、模特和设计师等多重身份的Spence在《S.H.O.T.T.A.》中注入了超越以往的个人色彩，将不同音色、旋律与节奏巧妙组合，让听众同时欣赏到多种曲风，包括描写内心感受的trap、old-school风格的bop情歌以及关注自我认同的片段。专辑名《S.H.O.T.T.A.》取自Spence对自己以及歌迷的寄语首字母，即Soaring High Over The Turbulence Always（翱翔于乱流之上）、Soldier Helping Others Triumph Through Adversity（互助于逆境之中）以及Spreading Harmonious Overstanding Through The Almighty（以上帝之名传递和平）。Spence分享道：“这张专辑在包含了无数独特的旋律与节奏的同时，还结合了深刻的歌词与充满意义的叙事。《S.H.O.T.T.A.》不仅展示了我作为一个艺术家和词曲作者的创造力，更展现了我作为一个人的思想深度。在这张专辑中，你能听到R&B、另类、经典hip hop以及重鼓点trap等不同风格的作品，作为一个在新泽西长大的亚裔青年，我在关于爱、灵性、信心、愤怒、成长与风格等话题上也有了更多的思考。”专辑中每首单曲都搭配有视觉短片，将在专辑发行后逐步释出。今年五月，Spence也将再度登上88rising “Head In The Clouds”云思妙想音乐艺术节纽约场的舞台，敬请期待！ 　　S.H.O.T.T.A. is muti-hyphenate artist Spence Lee’s debut album via 88rising and Eardrummers, executive produced by the legendary Mike WiLL Made-It, with focus track “SRT” featuring Slim Jxmmi of Rae Sremmurd fame. As a rapper, producer, visual artist, model, and designer, Spence gets more personal than ever on S.H.O.T.T.A compared to his previous mixtape projects. Tapping into multiple sounds, melodies, and flows, the album traverses from trap-driven records about feeling yourself, to old school-inspired love bops, and introspective bars about identity. As a sort of affirmation for the artist and his fans, the S.H.O.T.T.A. acronym has multiple meanings: Soaring High Over The Turbulence Always, Soldier Helping Others Triumph Through Adversity, and Spreading Harmonious Overstanding Through The Almighty. In his own words – “This album shows my versatility and originality as an artist and songwriter, as well as my depth as a human being. It has a million unique flows and melodies as well as witty lyrics and meaningful storytelling. The production blends r&b, alternative, classic hip hop, and trap with warm, live instrumentation and hard drums.I get more personal on this project covering topics from love, spirituality, confidence, anger, growth, style and my unique 　　upbringing as an Asian-American New Jersey native. This debut album solidifies me as a real artist with something to say.” Spence will roll out visuals for each track on the album following release. He will also be appearing at 88risings Head In The Clouds festival in New York this May.
