HuffFor the statistics, 10 Jaar Levensecht, Meeuwis' first collection of hits, came on year too early: Meeuwis and Vagant's breakthrough was in the summer of 1995, with smash hit single Het Is Een Nacht. In 2004, however, Meeuwis was once again in the spotlight, with the success of cover single Geef Mij Nu Je Angst, re-released in the wake of the death and funeral of singer Andre Hazes. All the usual suspects of Meeuwis' single catalogue (both with Vagant and as a solo artist) are here, from second single Per Spoor to fan favourite Brabant, fleshed out with two of Meeuwis' own favourites (a live, duet rendition of Bondgenoot and a new studio recording of Toen Ik Je Zag) and two new songs, Ze Komt Naar Huis and Mooier Dan Ik Dacht.
