Josh Osborne (born 1980) is an American songwriter with several number one singles to his credit.   Osborne signed a publishing agreement with Black River Entertainment in 2010. His first number one hit as a songwriter was "Come Over," performed by Kenny Chesney.The song spent two weeks at the top of the Billboard Country Airplay charts. Osborne's song"Merry Go 'Round," co-written with Kacey Musgraves and Shane McAnally, became a top 10 Billboard Country Airplay hit for Musgraves, and has sold over one million copies to achieve Platinum status. The song went on to win the Grammy Award for Best Country Song of the Year, in recognition of the songwriters, at the 56th Grammy Awards.   Osborne has since written other Billboard Country Airplay chart-topping songs, including "Drunk Last Night," recorded by Eli Young Band, "My Eyes," performed by Blake Shelton featuring Gwen Sebastian, "We Are Tonight," sung by Billy Currington, "Leave the Night On" and "Take Your Time" by Sam Hunt, "Wild Child", written with Chesney and frequent collaborator Shane McAnally, and featuring Grace Potter and "Sangria" performed by Blake Shelton. Josh currently has singles with Jake Owen's "Real Life", the new Keith Urban single, "John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16" and Tim McGraw's "Top of the World". In addition to radio singles, Josh has had songs recorded by Luke Bryan, The Band Perry, Joe Nichols, Kelly Clarkson, Reba McEntire, Sara Evans, Easton Corbin, Trisha Yearwood, Craig Morgan, Rodney Atkins, Chris Young, Love and Theft, Faith Hill, Randy Rogers Band and many others.   In 2015 Osborne announced he was joining Shane McAnally's company, SMACK Songs as a partner and songwriter. SMACK Songs currently represents McAnally, as well as Matthew Ramsey and Trevor Rosen.
