Although Christina has only been taking professional singing lessons October 2013, she has been singing ever since she was born. At three years of age she was chosen to play the part of 'Dora the Explorer' and sing a solo as part of a University of Malta Theatre Production 'Infanta' under the direction of Dr Isabelle Gatt where she experienced her first song recording at Mro Philip Vella. The late Fr Peter Serracino Inglott had very positively commented on Christina at the time on the Times of Malta, referring to her as a future star.   Since then she solo-sings regularly at Mass where her mother plays the organ, and has taken part in various theatrical productions and pageants.   She took Royal Schools of Music piano lessons with Ms C Amodio where she always obtained Distinction results. She also takes ballet Royal Academy of Dance lessons at Ms J Rummolino where she has also always obtained distinction results. She is currently in Intermediate Foundation. Her teachers believe that one of her greatest assets is her rare musicality.   Christina also studies vocal technique under her mother's tuition and has recently obtained her vocal Grade 8 level with the Trinity College of London this year where she has achieved the highest distinction ever achieved. She was also the youngest student to ever take this exam. The Trinity College of London have awarded Christina with a special prize of recognition for this great accolade.   She was chosen to sing and compete at the 2014's edition of 'Una Stella Sta Nascendo' which was aired on Sky Italia. Christina won her category and received coverage on both local and Italian news.   Christina had a busy Christmas period where she played the role of Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz with the School of Dance where she was singing and dancing ballet, two of her passions. She was also one of the main parts in the huge St Monica School Gzira production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat where she played the Narrator.   Christina has recently won the local contest SanRemo Junior Malta 2015 with her amazing interpretation of Mamma Knows Best.   Shortly after, she was handpicked by the Romanian programme Next Star and made it to the finals after succeeding to win over the judges. On the 1st programme her rendition of the Albanian Eurovision sensation 'SUUS' not only caught the attention of millions of TV viewers and over 400K Youtube viewers, but also got recognition and went viral on Albanian media capturing the attention of the composer of the said song who promised to compose a song and launch it in the Balkans. His interest in Christina has been made public on major music websites. She is currently working on her 1st original album to be launched in the Balkans in 2016.   Following this success Christina managed to win 1st place in the Next Star Final from all international singers with her rendition of Lara Fabian's "Je t'Aime" for which she received recognition from the composer of the said song. Christina will be working with the composer and producer of Lara Fabian shortly in Canada and France.   Christina sings in 10 languages which are English, Maltese, Albanian, Serbian, French, Italian, Macedonian, Ukranian, Spanish and Bulgarian. She carefully studies diction and has received numerous amounts of comments regarding the perfect accents.   Christina won various Gran Prix overall contests locally giving her the opportunity to perform and compete in Macedonia, Prague and Sicily. She has also been invited to perform in Albania, Slovenia, Belarus and the UK. This summer she has also been invited as guest to partake in the Festival della Canzone Citta' di Mascalucia where she will be performing with a live orchestra.   This year apart from having worked on Grade 8 and achieved such great results, Christina has been chosen for the musical 'The Sound of Music'. This will be taking place at Malta's main concert venue the Mediterranean Conference Centre where she will be playing the part of Louisa. It will be a show with live orchestration.   Christina is also currently working on composing her own music and lyrics.   She was chosen by a Jury and Public vote to represent Malta in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016.   To Christina, the stage is her world.   It is the place where she comes to life.
