Ferreck Dawn (Freek Coppens) is a 26 year old techhouse and deephouse producer. Born in the southern part of Holland (Eindhoven), Freek was bitten by the musical bug in the year 2000, when he first started visiting house parties. 　　In 2003 he bought his first dj set and after a while he started dj’ing in and around Eindhoven. Since then he played at a large number of parties and festivals like Extrema Outdoor, Solar, 7th Sunday, Daydream, Free festival and Lakedance. Next to parties like before mentioned he also gained a residency at the Danssalon. 　　In addition to dj’ing, he also started producing in 2006. Gradually developing his producing skills, Freek saw his first track released in 2007. 　　After graduating from university in 2009, he’s now able to devote all of his time to producing music. This full devotion to music has led to a number of successful releases on labels like Toolroom, Nervous, This is / Little mountain and Manual music. His music is supported by dj’s like Luciano, Dubfire, Reboot, Sander Kleinenberg, Nic Fanciulli, Michel de Hey, Paco Osuna, Laurent Garnier and Hernan Cattaneo. In addition to releasing solo tracks Freek is also very busy remixing artists like Sander Kleinenberg, Funkerman and Love girls. 　　Next to dj sets, he recently added a live set to his repertoire. Only self produced tracks and remixes are played and edited during these sets, giving a comprehensive overview of his latest music. 　　With his dj- and livesets, Freek is aiming at (inter)national performances, spreading his vision of quality dance music all over the place.
