Mexican duet. Lupe y Raúl, made up of Guadalupe Muñoz Viguri, born in 1927 and Raúl Piñera Salas, born in 1930. According to Federico Ortiz Moreno, the members of this magnificent romantic ranchero duet were born in Misantla, Veracruz. The duet was tremendously successful due to the coupling of voices and that special feeling that they imprinted on their songs. Raúl, despite being blind, did not prevent him from establishing himself as a great singer and excellent guitar performer. He also served as a co-author of musical themes.
