Brothers Osborne is an American country music duo consisting of brothers T.J. Osborne (lead vocals) and John Osborne (guitar, background vocals). They are signed to EMI Nashville, for which they have released one self-titled extended play and one studio album, Pawn Shop. The duo has also released six singles to the country format, of which their most successful is "Stay a Little Longer", which charted at No. 4 on Hot Country Songs and No. 2 on Country Airplay in 2016.
John and T. J. Osborne were born in Deale, Maryland. John and T.J. Osborne moved to Nashville, Tennessee in the mid-2000s. Upon moving there, they signed a publishing contract with Warner Chappell, followed by a recording contract with the Nashville branch of EMI.
The duo released their debut single "Let's Go There" in late 2013.The song reached Top 40 on Country Airplay at the end of 2013.Their second single, "Rum", debuted in early 2014. It also reached Top 40 on Country Airplay, and is included on a five-song, self-titled extended play released in September 2014.
Their third single is "Stay a Little Longer". This song originally appeared on the extended play, but the brothers re-recorded it with producer Jay Joyce for the single release.It has become their third consecutive top 40 country hit, and their first top 10 single, peaking at number 2 in January 2016.
