Born on June 15, 1985 in Derry, Northern Ireland, singer Nadine Coyle first shot to fame in 2002 when she appeared on Irish Popstars. She was just 16 when she made headline news in her home country, having lied about her age to compete in the show and win a place in the band. Having been removed from what was to become the ill-fated pop act Six, Nadine was signed by judge Louis Walsh and eventually alerted of auditions for a similar show in the United Kingdom.
In November 2002, Nadine won a place in Girls Aloud after sailing through auditions for ITV's Popstars: The Rivals. The group went on to become one of the biggest success stories of the 21st century with a record breaking string of Top 10 singles, sell out tours, platinum albums and sponsorship deals from KitKat to Sunsilk!
Nadine and her family relocated to LA in 2008 in order to open a chain of Irish themed bars. The singer returns to her property in London when working with Girls Aloud and has no plans to leave the group, who have signed to record at least three more albums from 2010 onwards.
Aside from opening her first bar - Nadine's Irish Mist - in 2009, Nadine has also been working on solo material which is set to be released in 2010. Coyle will also appear on new albums from Boys II Men ('Love' released November 2009) and Jay Sean.
