Karlyn, 20 years old, found out that she loved to sing when she was six. It all started with singing Dutch ‘Kinderen voor Kinderen’ songs and participating in several of their contests. At the age of eight she reached the finals of this song festival and performed LIVE with a band for 700 people. After this performance, Karlyn’s career gained momentum. She won a big local talent contest in 2010 and 2 years later she appeared twice on Dutch television participating on the talent show ‘THE WINNER IS’. At the same time Karlyn built a large fan base on YouTube through the many videos that she had posted over the years. This resulted into an invitation to perform LIVE in London on December 1st, 2012 at an international YouTube Concert. Karlyn has now reached over 5 million views on YouTube and has over 47,000 subscribers. 　　Early in 2013 Karlyn participated on X-FACTOR and made it to the last 13 singers from the girls category. In this year she also released her own self written EP ‘WATCH ME’ with 6 original pop songs. She promoted the EP at the Dutch radio station SlamFM and performed her songs live at the international YouTube concert at theater ‘De Schalm’ in Eindhoven. In June 2014 Karlyn released her new single ‘VICTORIOUS’ on iTunes with an Official Music Video on YouTube. The video was aired on Dutch TV channel XiteNL and she also got to perform the song LIVE at Radio538. In March 2015 Karlyn released another single named ‘COMING MY WAY’. The Official Music Video almost reached 25,000 views on YouTube. At the moment Karlyn is really busy with her new EP named ‘GOLD’ that will be released in May 2016. April 9th, saw the release of ‘IT'S ALRIGHT’, the lead single from the EP.
