Christian Janssen is a Dutch neo-classical pianist and composer passionate about making a meaningful contribution to this world. He was brought up in an environment where he got to make loads of music. He started off as a self-taught organist, already composing small pieces of music when he reached the age of seven. One day Christian decided to switch to piano after having a dream that felt like a revelation. A vision where he spreads peace through music still inspires him to this day. As he spent every weekend of his youth in churches, performing with churchbands and choirs, Christian takes a lot of inspiration from his faith. Over a period of roughly two decades, Christian has evolved into a versatile musician who’s always searching for ways to make a meaningful contribution to this world. One way or another. Whether it is by composing a piano piece for people with Alzheimer’s disease, playing the piano in a children’s hospital or performing at the local homeless centre to get a smile on people’s faces.
